 Not all Windows Mobile phones support Cell ID
Solution iFind Mobile can use cell ID to automatically detect your location using FindWhere's cell tower database. Most newer phone platforms support cell ID, including Android, iPhone and iPod touch, BlackBerry, Windows Mobile, Symbian S60, Sony Ericsson, and Java devices. 

Some devices, particularly Windows Mobile devices, do not have the the proper API enabled to allow for cell ID location detection. 

The list below identifies popular devices that we know do or do not support automatic location detection. This is not an exhaustive list, and additional phones may or may not support cell ID or GPS location detection.

Supports cell ID:

· T-Mobile G1

· HP IPAQ hw6900

· HTC 4350

· HTC 8525

· HTC Atlas

· HTC MTeoR

· HTC P3300

· HTC P3450

· HTC P3600

· HTC P3650

· HTC Touch (not supported on some devices)

· HTC Touch Dual

· HTC Touch Diamond

· HTC TyTN

· HTC TyTN II

· o2 XDA Orbit

· Palm Treo 750

· Samsung Blackjack II

· Samsung i780

· Samsung SCH i760

Supports GPS, but not cell ID:

· HTC Mogul on Sprint (users can enable GPS with a firmware upgrade*)

· Motorola Q9

*Note: When performing a firmware upgrade, please follow the device manufacturer's instructions carefully and at your own risk. Phones may be rendered unusable if the upgrade is performed improperly.

Does NOT support cell ID.
